The room was nice unfortunately, upon entering the room, we noticed used towels on the floor by the door. We informed front desk and they said they would take care of it but they were still there when we left the following morning. We had dinner and lunch at the farmers market buffet. Service during dinner was good but the service during lunch was lousy. Had to wait forever to get refills on our drinks. The price for the buffet is reasonable though.
Stayed for 2 days. Rooms are very modern and clean. Ate at The Vine and wasn't impressed at all. Food was cold and just not what I expected. Matt the bartender makes an excellent Old Fashioned though. Buffet is about what you would expect. Nothing great either. Did the 50 minute messages, my wife was impressed I was not. Customer service around the place is fantastic. I would give it another shot and skip the restaurants.
Being a casual gambler, slots! They have good eateries where you can eat at any price point. A very good buffet with a lot of value built in! The gaming floor is open and "airy" versus congested! They have added an accommodations tower with all the unexpected amenities! A good place to visit!
NEVER AGAIN! So I wish I could had read the reviews first. We usually stay at TS on our way to Ohio from Vermont. This time, with our 3 yo, and 2 teen girls, decided to try this brand new beautiful hotel. It is 1:41am now, and we are on the route after 5+hours driving trying to find a place to stay (you know there is not many options around this area). So, the reservation was made, apparently someone in reservations did not add our requests with two cots. Okay, However! my husband called on the route to make sure we were having our suite with the cots. So, we arrived at 1 am and no, no cots! AH! they are sold out and they cannot do anything about it. My husband request for the manager (an Asian looking) who listened to my husband and he said, there is nothing I can do about it, we are sold out we do not have cots, and your reservation is still in. My husband asked for a solution (expecting to have at least two connecting rooms) manager said there is no solution and the room is still there they did not fail with it. My husband asked, what am i gonna do with my two girls, sleep on the floor? Manager said THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM, THEY ARE YOUR KIDS" i was like omg! and of course my husband couldn’t handle that situation. OH by the way, someone on our side was looking for his luggage that got lost. Anyway, the way this manager approach the situation, if he was actually one, was not appropriate and extremely rude. He said the reservation was not refundable, which made the situation even worse. But I tried to be nice and told him we didn’t get the service and that we were walking out, and he said "i will try. Please do not stay here if you need a place to break your long trip with or without kids, they may lose your luggage as well. SAD!
Went for a couple of days at Del Lago. Great experience. "Tasted" all venues. The room was very comfortable and immaculate. The food at all stations was excellent...no shortcoming or disappointments at all. LOVED no smoking. The bar prices were on the mark....and made well. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and welcoming. I asked the server at breakfast what made everyone there so friendly and genuinely helpful. She said it was easy. She said Del Lago made conscious selections in their hires and treated all of their staff well. Kudos to Del Lago. Am sure of return visits. Hope to see you again soon!!
