We showed up at the Magee Country Diner at 8:30 on a Saturday night. The let us sit at the counter and we're were able room order the Prime Rib special even though it was so close to closing. We were over tired and road weary and the staff was very patient and courteous. The Prime rib was terrific. A perfect place to stop and recharge on a long trip home.
The service was family-style, fast, and very friendly. 3 of us had Reuben sandwich, roast beef club, and the chicken fried steak. Dessert was chocolate cream pie, carrot cake and bread pudding. We all tasted each dish, because it was so good! Right down the riad from the outlets! Worth the stop for sure!! (Love the cow decor)
Crazy busy place on a Friday night! But we didn't wait long(party of 7) and I have to say the pot roast dinner was very nice. Great menu options, and our server was fantastic. Seating is close yet everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Just plain good diner food.
Real home made comfort food. We stopped by at the end of a long day driving from Toronto to Utica. We had been delayed hours by an accident on the interstate. We got there just before closing after a rushed visit to Waterloo Outlets They did not make us feel rushed. It was Friday so they had clam chowder on the menu Maybe not as good as legal seafood in Boston but better than most. My reuben was good. Service was very attentive. Family style restaurant Not an artificial cold chain
We quickly were seated. Sometimes there is a wait here. Our breakfast was good, I was not a fan of the sausage links. The flavor was not appealing to me. Overall. Good food and decent portions . Friendly staff.
